Project Objectives - Safe management, on national scale, of radwaste generated in Romania by an integrated computer assisted system capable to contribute to the sustainable development of nuclear power. - The including of the entire radwaste inventory in the process of radwaste management in order to assure the proper radiation protection of occupation personnel, population and environment against the harmful effects of ionizing radiation both at present and in future. - The accurate knowledge of radwaste generators and production in Romania as well as there radiological characteristics. - The increase of the quality level on the information flags for the radwaste recording by the expedite collection of data - The possibility to make a synthesis/ reports of radwaste in various forms required by regulatory bodies or in order to support the operation and planning of radwaste disposals. - The analysis of the compatibility with the EU and IAEA database in order to provide a common platform. - Provision of the safety of information manage by the integrated computer assisted system |
